The Jappix implementation is unfortunately not a new version of XEP-0313, but a
non-standard version. There is a new version of XEP-0313 that will be published
soon, Prosody will upgrade to that when it is published, but it probably still
won't work with Jappix unless they decide to support the standard version too.
Anyone is free to implement support for Jappix's version as a plugin (and host
it in prosody-modules), but it wouldn't be an official plugin. The Metronome
plugin may be a good base to start from.

This is not correct Metronome, implements the latest, standard MAM xep plus
purging (on a different namespace) as I said in the thread, infact with other
MAM supporting clients e.g., Bluejabb IM it works perfectly. The fact Jappix
doesn't work with Prosody's is entirely a different matter as I'm not sure
about the code changes on that bit Jappix wise, I can't make any safe
affirmation on that regard.
Neither I have time to check right now.
