Is 'utf8' module required now? #452

Was this recently changed? I've been using a prebuild of 1.3 with Lua 5.1 and everything was fine. When I updated to the final 1.3 I'm starting to get these issues.

Note: I'm using fennel.eval to execute code in a 5.1 environment. I suspect the failure happens in fennel.view but not 100$ sure.

Apologies. This may be an early alarm and mistake is possibly on my part. Closing until I clarify further.
