Physical Pen Eraser is Recognized But Not Functional #28

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Using a tablet PC, try to erase some strokes with the tablet eraser
2. Won't erase
3. However, the eraser icon can be clicked on, and that works as expected.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected the eraser to erase when I put the top of my Wacom pen to the
computer screen (Button2). An eraser is attached to the pointer icon (as when
the eraser is manually activated from the program bar), but the eraser icon (on
the bar) is not activated, and nothing erases.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.8 in ArchLinux, 64-bit, on a Fujitsu T900 tablet PC.

Please provide any additional information below.
Please let me know anything else that would be helpful to report.

Please try to run ardesia with the debug option
# ardesia -V

I suppose that you will read

Device 'blabla': Invalid pressure event

because of I read only the one button event

Please inform me if it is true; in this case I can fix the problem made a
better check in the code

Bye
