Connection errors #184

This PR depends upon feature/amberdata, and therefore on #181 (which resolves #116).

It adds a connection error banner, using https://github.com/Daltron/NotificationBanner:

It also adds a modal screen for when there's no internet connection at all (like on the plane where I wrote this PR):
