Need to be able to see settlement dates for accounting #719

I've been told that you can't know when a transaction actually settles with any particular bank account because that would fall into the Receiving Depository Financial Institution's responsibility/scope.

I'm not talking about the date the credit turns to succeeded. I'm talking about the date the bank statement shows the funds hit the account.

We are using Balanced now, but our previous integration was with PaySimple (who uses Forte) and they were able to give us an exact settlement date so if you guys also use them you might want to look into this since that probably means there is actually a way for you to see this information.

I believe the ACH network does not support communicating this information.

My guess would be that Forte would guess the date and give that to you. Balanced used to do this too but stopped because it was a guess, not a fact. I do not think we'll be able to support this.
