"@jkwade I'd love to see you guys solve that as it would help me and others. People are lazy, that's the hardest part of starting up"

"@jkwade I'd prolly benefit from @Balanced but the value proposition requires too much brain work. To me, yet another payment opt."
I started using Stripe (didn't know of Balanced at the time) because I'd used many of the earlier payment processors. These are the features that attracted me...
I guess in the end, accepting payments is just a vehicle to making the business successful. I don't have a lot of interest in spending any more time on it than needed. So the big value proposition was the proposed ease of use and knowing that I wouldn't be frustrated as a developer.
Anyways, it depends on who your target is. As a developer, Stripe, has great messaging. As a middle manager, Balanced, has great messaging.
That being said, for me the ACH payments could be a killer feature. It wouldn't have been at the time I decided to pick a payment service but it became one after I started accepting $.
Scatter-brained, but my $.02.
@jmathai that's great feedback. How are you paying your customers now?
@matin Correction, we're not yet. We get plenty of feature requests which get backlogged until we figure out a simple/easy way to do it. I didn't know of the ACH payments via Balanced until a few weeks ago :).
From a customer:
We are moving from Stripe to Balanced so we can use one platform to cover credit cards and ACH etc, as well as cut down on the 7 day hold (Stripe is good, just doesn't have everything we need).
@jkwade Is this blog post still valid or is this more the job of the website at this point?
Inspired by this conversation. I think it would be good for Balanced to write a blog post further describing our value prop.
