not run with html4 #69

jquery-translate version:1.1.2
jQuery version:1.4.6
browser:Internet Explorer 8/9 and Firefox 4
OS:Windows XP/Vista/7

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Internet explorer does not run the script in HTML4

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
the writing should be translated but nothing happens

Please provide any additional information below.
with html1 works on all browsers

It works for me, please provide some test case either here or on jsfiddle/jsbin 
or by email.
