Are you using the same sample rate foor playing (48000Hz?) What returns clipping detection in the plugin? If you export impulse(not filter) from REW, you need to use DRC-FIR in the plugin to create a pcm filter and use it as filter.
Yes, I am using the same sample rate, but you got me thinking. I was uploading .wav file made in Rephase (32 bit LPCM mono wave) and also tried the 64 bit .dbl file. Should I use the DRC-FIR to make the correct file?
Also one new development occured - the attenuation doesn't do anything, it's still clipping/clicking when the loud tones are present (ie. bass drum in Ceu - Grains de Beaute), but I turned down the main volume in Volumio below 90 and it's all good now.

I have a problem with DRC -I've made two impulses one for each channel, and there is a clipping happening with for example bass drum etc. I have tried setting even 16 dB of attenuation. My filters made with REW were set to max 3dB of boost. Impulses are 32bit LPCM mono .WAV files, at 48 kHz.
