Please provide adapter config examples

After a considerable search, I am yet to find a single example of how to configure non-trivial adapters. I am specifically interested in redis and have read through the sails-redis stuff - again, no examples illustrating config of redis in the context of waterline (I am not looking for sails examples - just waterline). It seems to me that concrete adapter config examples would be helpful to most people looking to dive into waterline. Help appreciated.
