Ubuntu Installer fails to install (Ubuntu 10.04)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download installer and copy it to ~/bin/papercrop
2. run sh ./ubuntu_installer2.sh

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Installed application, got this error instead: http://pastie.org/2335140

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

According to svn info: Revision 85
OS: Ubuntu 10.04

It seems that you don't have cmake installed. ubuntu_installer2.sh contains the 
following line. Could you check which package causes problem?

sudo apt-get install libdevil-dev libfontconfig-dev libfltk1.1-dev libdevil-dev 
libfreeimage-dev liblua5.1-dev libpng12-dev libboost1.42-dev lua5.1 cmake g++ 
libxml2-dev libogre-dev libgsl0-dev libluabind-dev

You can check if your distribution have the package by tab-completing the above 
line in the terminal. If there is no such package, try to use the package with 
the most similiar name, and let me know the results.

Thanks for the response. Looks like the package libboost1.42-dev wasn't found. 
The lastest version in the ubuntu repository is the 1.40 (package name: 
libboost1.40-dev).

I installed this package and reinstall but got the same error.

It seems that cmake is missing too. Can you run cmake in the command line?

Yes, it would be helpful if you do so. I need to understand why cmake, fltk, 
etc were missing there.

Hi! I had the exactly same problem while trying to install on ubuntu 10.04. So 
i changed the sudo apt-get line in the .sh file by replacing libboost1.42-dev 
with libboost1.40-dev and it installed perfectly.

Hi, I had the same problem here. Returns that:
-- Configuring incomplete, errors occurred!
make: *** Sem regra para processar o alvo `clean'.  Pare.
make: *** Nenhum alvo indicado e nenhum arquivo make encontrado.  Pare.
cp: impossível obter estado de "paperCrop": Arquivo ou diretório não 
encontrado

I'm using the ubuntu_installer3.sh.

I have a similar problem (using the newest version of ubuntu_installer3.sh),
