We have https://www.balena.io/blog/how-to-use-nvidia-jetson-devices-on-balenaos/ but it's outdated (under section "balenaOS on Jetson"). We should both update this blog post and add an official docs reference, which the blog could then reference directly to maintain 1 source of truth.

Does this help? https://www.balena.io/docs/faq/troubleshooting/troubleshooting/#how-can-i-determine-which-l4t-a-balenaos-image-uses

cywang117 commented 2 years ago

It probably does -- I wonder if the API stores this information through, and we can just autogenerate the docs using the API so we don't have to reference a repo where the info is not as easily accessible (compared to a table in the docs)

Here's a link which may be a better user experience for looking up L4T-OS version pairings: https://balenaos-manifest.balena.io/

We are in the process of adding the yocto build manifest to the release metadata, so it can be parsed on the devices page of hub. https://hub.balena.io/device-types

This is how we plan to replace https://balenaos-manifest.balena.io/
