Old computer get stuck on boot screen, but it works well when using Rufus with compatiblity mode.

• Tried using Debian x64, Windows 10 x64, Arch Linux x64.

• My very old E8500 computer should complete the boot process.
• What happened:
• My very old E8500 computer got stuck when i plugged the thumb drive on the USB, but it works well when i am using Rufus with compatibility mode enabled.
• Do you see any meaningful error information in the DevTools?
• Nope.

Sounds like this is a problem with your image or your old BIOS, not a problem with Etcher? See https://github.com/balena-io/etcher/blob/master/docs/USER-DOCUMENTATION.md#why-is-my-drive-not-bootable
