Describe what exactly the feature is, why you think it's important, use
cases for it, how you imagine it would work, etc.

I would like a way to have a log of all events received on the client.  So, if 
my phone is in another end of my house and linked by wifi, I would be able to 
see what happened if I was distracted and have only seen a notification popup 
and had no time to read it.
