menu bar icon color #197

This isn't a usability issue, more of an interface suggestion.

The menubar icon has changed from black with a white ! symbol to a black
outline with a white speech bubble and black ! symbol. I am not sure if here
are some shadow effects behind the outline or if it is just anti-alising, but
the icon looks blurry. The solid black speech bubble was easier to read and I
feel it was more in keeping with the OS X style.

IMHO the icon looks fine and better than the previous ones, but I'll assign to
the designer so he can discuss.

The only color used is black. It is a transparent background and a high res
image. Maybe try uninstalling and then install again.

I stand corrected. You are right, the speech bubble is not white it is
transparent. Even if it is a high res image it is blurry looking.

I've resubmitted the graphics I made. They all look perfect on my machine.

I've changed the menu icon for a higher-resolution version that Kahil sent.
(lehphyro, you may want to do the same, the icons are in the artwork subdir -
not sure if the same ones will look good on other OSs though)

I think the icon I'm already using looks better than this one when scaled to
18x18.

The meunbar icon looks a lot like a popular Adium notification icon (the Marten
series). For whatever reason, they show up exactly next to each other in the
menu bar, which is a bit annoying. I managed to re-package the jar to use a
different icon, like the result much better. No offense to the designer, but
the speech bubble with exclamation isn't real original and doesn't really
reflect the android connection ihmo...

attached screen shots and the icon src files. I know this is super low
priority, and cheers to you kids for making a cool utility for us android
users! if the designer of anyone else wants to use or build on these icons,
please do. or don't, and thanks anyway. maybe some day an option to switch
icons will be included, or whatever.

I tried making an icon using the Android, but once shrunken down to the correct
size, it doesn't look too well on all screens/resolutions. The bubble I made
was purposely made to look like the notifications icon in the option menu on
some apps/areas of the Android OS. I did so because in the Android OS it
represents "Android Notifications". So... As the Mac app shows notifications
from Android, it only made sense.

I do believe that Rodrigo mentioned to me that he may add the ability to have
different icon packs in a future release, so this will allow you and other
users to choose a pack of icons that you like best. :)
