Can't get Multidroid for Windows Vista 64 to work #207

IMPORTANT: PLEASE search the existing issues (including closed ones) for
something similar before filing a new one.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install 64 bit Multidroid program on vista with java 6
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
for program to perform.  currently i get an error when trying to open program 
where it says " could not load UI. make sure you are using correct version for 
your system.  both operating system and java have to be 64 bit....etc.."  i 
have verified that i do have windows vista with 64 bit and java 6 update 21.  

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
multidroid for windows vista 64 bit for loading on my dell studio laptop that 
has vista 64 bit with java 6

Please provide any additional information below.

You need Java 64-bit. You can get java 6-bit in this link:

I'm using windows 7 ultimate 64 bit, and get the same message.

I downloaded the 64 bit Java, and tried the Android notifier again, and got the 
same message:

"Could not load UI.  Make sure you are using the correct version (32 or 64 bit) 
for your system.  Both Operating System and Java have to be 64 bit if you want 
to run the 64 bit version of this program."

(this seems like a me too comment, but it applies to Win 7, and the 64 bit Java 
install doesn't seem to make a difference)

I experienced thge same issue on 64bit windows ultimate and a 64 bit JVM, and 
thought perhaps the issue was related to my TEMP folder being a RAM disk 
(similarly to http://code.google.com/p/android-notifier/issues/detail?id=407 
perhaps?)

By setting the compatibility mode option on the .exe to 'Run as Administrator' 
I solved the issue.

I am having the same issues and running as Admin doesn't help.
