No bluetooth on Desire #216

If Remote-notifier starts, the bluetooth can't be enabled until the phone
reboots.

Just wanted to note that it works on my Desire. I have no idea though what can
cause that for you. Do you have the official ROM? Which version? Just to have
some info to start with.

2.1, orange custom...

By custom do you mean the one customized by orange, or customized by
you/cyanogen?
Are you using the auto-enable bluetooth option in the config?

I mean the one customized by orange...
And I'm using this option. But I think I tried to enable and disable it, and I
didn't see any difference.

bluetooth works on my desire (official HTC-Rom, Android 2.2) with winxp sp3
just well. Maybe this issue has been fixed with the OTA-Update to Android 2.2?

It works perfectly now. Thanks :)

Well... Spoke too fast... The bluetooth can now be enabled, but it's
dysfunctional. The remote notifications don't work, and the associated devices
can't establish any connection.

I have Desire with Android 2.2 and Remote Notifier 0.2.8. On the other side is
Ubuntu 10.10 64bit with Android Notifier Desktop 0.5.1. Everything is fine with
wi-fi, but bluetooth doesn't work. There are no notifications with bluetooth.
Nothing in log for bluetooth method. Devices are paired and file transfer works
fine. Any idea?

This issue is happening on Eclair 2.1 on my HTC Wildfire - I'm going to have to
uninstall the app until I get the Froyo update (if it ever comes to Australia).
My bluetooth does work upon reboot, but that takes a while and it's too
inconvenient.
