Disable voice pairing over Bluetooth #34

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

I've set up the Windows client over Bluetooth and can successfully receive
notifications. But when I pick up the call on the phone, I can also hear the
audio over the computer's speakers.

Is there a way to disable this part of the pairing, so that I only receive
desktop notifications but no audio is transmitted? (I apologize if I've
submitted this to the wrong project; I'm not sure if it's a feature for
notifier, notifier-desktop, or a general Windows setting.)

This is definitely not related to the notifier - it does nothing about audio.
Please check the bluetooth and audio settings on both the phone and the PC.
Also, you can experiment by disabling the notifier service altogether and
seeing that it still happens (if it only happens when the notifier is running,
then please let me know).

I have since switched from a Droid to a Droid 2, and cannot replicate the
problem. I'll let you know if it recurs.
