The synchronization crashs continuously with the following error massage: "The synchronization caused currently experiencing problems. It will continued shortly."

Can't reproduce, my instance is working fine with 16.0.1

I have the same issue! Windows Firefox is synced properly with another Windows Firefox. But on my Android phone that will not fold easily. The account is set up for syncronisation but it is not synced. Is there a log for Synchronizing on the Androidsystem?

balu- commented 11 years ago

try about:sync-log and the newest fsynms version

DaniDuesentrieb commented 11 years ago

about: sync-log for Android Firefox does not work. about: sync-log when Windows already and given that no errors are displayed. But even with the new version will not be syncronize the phone.

DaniDuesentrieb commented 11 years ago

Have I found the error. The Android Firefox can not syncronize via https even though I have an https certificate from CA-Cert. I changed the server to just http and the data already synced.

ffsync commented 11 years ago

Yes, you're right DaniDuesentrieb! I have set up my desktop instance with https and Android with http. My certification had expired. I changed just all my instances to http, too. Now it seems to work.

Only my passwords are not used by Firefox Android unfortunately. Desktop instances work very well with passwords. If I visit a website with stored Login in Firefox Android, the form is not completed. Am I doing something wrong?

DaniDuesentrieb commented 11 years ago

I dont know. I have not saved passwords in Firefox. My Android device have Problems to install any security keys from Conductors like Ca-Cert.

Has one of you tried to manualy accept(trust) the https cert of your instance? For example by accessing the sync address via firefox browser and accept the cert

DaniDuesentrieb commented 11 years ago

My https certificate from CA Cert. Without the root certificate not trust the browser https certificates by that certifier. When you install the root certificate crashes Firefox Android. With the Dolphin browser, I was able to install the certificate and Firefox also has the https page then be introduced or the Synchronizing did not work anyway. Without the certificate, but with exceptions in Firefox I have not tried because I am happy at the moment that it works.

i tried that on my galaxy gti9000 with GB Firmware and it worked (bevor setting up sync, go to sync url with https and acept that cert). but now on CM10 it doesn...

As far as i can see this is an issue with certificates (especialy ca cert) and android… and not with fsyncms
