[Bug]: Extension settings page displays on first launch after browser update

Prerequisites

Describe the bug

The settings page is displayed on the first launch after updating the browser version.

To Reproduce

1. Update the browser to the latest version.
2. Restart the browser.
3. The extension’s settings page will be displayed.

Expected behavior

The settings page should only be displayed upon the initial installation of the extension and not after a browser version upgrade.
