This is a first attempt at writing up what a member is: I tried to keep it brief and there are a few holes to be filled - but i think it is enough to work on now.

I think Google Docs provides a better interface to collaborative writing and discussions on that writing than github does. I've created a copy of this doc on Google Docs here https://docs.google.com/a/enspiral.com/document/d/1gWRMQvbz7g9jQzT3Rax3IueJc4pwRP2TSUPaUQfHPFU/edit?usp=sharing. Let's get it written there, and then we can move it here once we're all happy. Cool?

Oh, I thought we would just leave the PR open until we sorted out the docs, but I guess we can create a new one when we're ready.
