From time to time my printer has a filament failure where an old filament breaks in the AMS. This is because I have to keep the lid open to fit the E-Sun cardboard spools in the AMS so they go off over time if I don't print for a few weeks.
When I disassemble the AMS to remove the broken filament it is a pain as I have to remove the cables to the plug at the back. Also the screw bosses do not have metal inserts so these are going to die.
Please resolve the following issues in the next revision of the AMS.
Add metal inserts to the bottom screw bosses
Come up with a different way to connect the back connectors. Perhaps some spring loaded board to board connectors or something like this.
Make the diameter of the lid larger so the AMS lid can be closed
