Save automatic lidar filament calibration #1829

Hello, since I think the function of the X1 with the lidar calibration of the filament is great, I would like this function to save the values for each individual filament permanently. The current situation is that the values reset to some default value as soon as the printer is switched off. This means that you do not have to recalibrate each time before printing if the filament has already been scanned by the lidar. It would also be nice if you could load individual filaments, e.g. through the AMS, and thus gradually determine and save the values for them separately. Would be particularly beneficial when printing in multiple colors or use the Textured PEI Plate. Or is it at least possible to display the calibrated value, to save this manually for each filament?

I would be very happy about this implementation.

hi, Is it already clear when this feature will come? Currently, working with the pei-plate is really unpleasant.

  1. insert pla-plate.
  2. start printing.
  3. wait until the print starts.
  4. when the first lines are drawn, cancel printing.
  5. clean the pla-plate.
  6. insert and clean the pei-plate.
  7. select pei-plate in bambu studio.
  8. start printing.
  9. turn off chamber-fan because the printer is completely open, door open and glass plate removed, and it makes no sense to have another fan on.
