Spare parts usage tracker #1872

You could add a spare parts usage tracker, this would be helpful for those of us who tends to forget to do checkups. For example, the nozzle wiper, the printer could count each time the nozzle bumps it, and then when it has been bumped x times, a warning comes for the user to change it. Also the print bed you could possible track how much different parts of the bed have been used. And how many meters the extruder has moved.

This concept is used in many other industries, because it allows you to replace parts before they break instead of them breaking in the middle of operation, which could cost you a print.

You would need to have an interface on the printer so that you can tell it when you exchange the parts or swap beds/extruder so that it can keep track, and it should probably be optional.

Remember this could cause an increase in sales of spare parts, if the interval between changes gets smaller.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, it is a good idea. Actually, equipment maintenance reminders were introduced on 01.04.00.00, more maintenance features will be introduced to this module.
