Tooltips stop showing up

How to reproduce

1. Go to Prepare tab (with or without any model loaded).
2. Hover over tooltips for various settings.

Actual results

Nearly always, the tooltips soon stop showing up. This seems to happen more often when I hover over the editable box. See attached video.

Sometimes I can get them back by selecting another tab and then go back.

Expected results

Obviously the tooltips should keep popping up when I need them.
