Using supports, either normal auto, or tree auto, makes no difference with regards to the print issue. I choose tree because it is better and faster.
Print the object.
Actual results
When the object prints, when the printer gets to the layer where the color changes from gray to black, the following layers are all shifted to one side, offset from the initial layers.
Expected results
The layers should be aligned and the print should be the same as if one color was used to print the entire file.
