This worked for the first week or so, then the printer errored out one day and said to power cycle the machine. After the power cycle, this started happening on every print.
Actual results
I get an error message on the printer screen stating, "First Layer Inspection Not Supported for the current print job. [0c00 0300 0002 0004 0308 05]"
Hello Gmunker,
Could you upload device log through Handy App and give us your ticket no here??
Some reasons the First Layer Inspection as following:
When printing, type "Printer Options" without selecting the first layer scan.
Used older model slicing. StartGCode does not contain the GCode logic for first-level scanning. It is recommended to uninstall Studio and download and install it again. Do not use the preset configuration under the username. Import the model(stl) and re-slice.
Use older firmware (OTA below 01.06.00.00) and use slices such as PEI panels that did not support first-layer scanning at the time.
Used gcode of other type of device without this funciton.
Software bug which we fixed several turns. If the firmware is also the newest one. If possible, could you give us your 3mf file and device logs for analyzing.
