How to reproduce

Unsure how to recreate, I suspect it's because the model had been mirrored. Object mirrored back along X-Axis did not fit it

Actual results

Screenshot 2024-06-03 at 12 08 51 AM

Notice I had to type the text in reverse to get it to show up correctly

Expected results

text works properly

RiverCrossDiorama commented 3 weeks ago

Hello, The problem still randomly appears on the latest 2 versions, including the 1.9.4.60 The text I try to type appears backwards when hovering over the object. Backward text

Okay got it. I would also like to report these issues:

  1. The Text comes to the original position when changing the thickness value. It automatically resets movement and rotation which is extremely frustrating.
  2. When you reopen the project, The Font type frequently does not match the one in use. As an example yesterday evening I finished and saved the project of the picture I sent you, and today the font is displayed correctly on the item but if I click on the Text Shape button and I select the text it shows the default name AWLUnicode.
  3. It would be amazing if you made a drag-and-drop function in the Objects tab. For example, let's say I have an object and I applied text to it. Now that text is locked with that object. If I notice I need to adjust something about my original object and replace the one with the text, I can't because the text prevents me from doing so. So I have to import the new object but I also have to redo the entire Text Shape procedure to create new text because I can't drag and drop text from one item to another.
