Bambu Studio Version

1.9.3.50

Where is the application from?

Bambu Lab Official website

OS version

MacOS 14.5 (23F79)

Additional system information

2.3 Ghz 8-core intel I9, 16Gig DDR4 2400Mhz RAM, Radion Pro 4Gig graphics card

Printer

Bambu Labs P1S

How to reproduce

I had an object I printed several times in a different orientation, once I flipped it to its side to get a better print quality and sliced it - Studio threw - error allocator ::allocate(size_t n) 'n' exceeds maximum supported (I was slicing Plate 6)

The slicer stopped slicing and had the object only half sliced. I flipped the object over 180 degrees and sliced again - and it worked. The memory dump went up to apple already. Looking at it before it got sent it looks like there was a problem with organic hybrid supports maybe stepped on a used memory segment. If you need help I can probably dig into it and figure it out and send a repair in to you, just let me know.

Actual results

The slice stopped leaving the object only half sliced - up to the point where supports should have been.

Expected results

The slice should have completed and been able to print. (Plate 6)
