Painting an object changes how the layers are built resulting in gaps #5341

Bambu Studio Version

1.10.1.50

Where is the application from?

Bambu Lab Official website

OS version

Windows 10

Additional system information

No response

Printer

Bambu Lab X1 Carbon

How to reproduce

  1. Notice I have two copies of the same object. One is a solid color and the other I painted.
  2. Slice the plate

Actual results

The painted model has visible gaps where the horizontal base meets the vertical walls. The unpainted model does not have these gaps. In the preview, look at layers 16 - 19. They are very different between the two models which is resulting in the visible gaps and I suspect a weaker model.

Expected results

Both models should structurally be the same.

I should have mentioned, if you select the painted model and remove the paint and re-slice the plate, the layers for both model are exactly the same.
