I should point out that once you select an account and click "Continue", you
are asked whether to grant or deny
access to your Google Documents account.
For a Google Account, the URL will be "http://docs.google.com/" while for a
GAFYD account it'll be whatever your
domain admin set your Docs URL to (e.g. "http://docs.google.com/a/example.com/"
or
http://docs.example.com/" if it's been customised). So it's not ambiguous once
you've chosen the account (you
can go back and change your mind) but it'd be nice if it was clearer up front.

Following on from previous comment, I've attached screenshots of the page after
clicking Continue for each of
the two options in initial screenshot. As it happens, the top one was the
"Google Account" and the second was
the "GAFYD Account" for me (and this may well be consistent for others?)

The page you're referring to actually resides on the Google side and is part of
the
AuthSub process - LaTeX Lab uses AuthSub authentication for Google Docs
integration.
The best place to bring up this issue is probably the Google Apps
Authentication group:

Even though it seems to be somewhat of a special case, it's worth reporting so
that
the Google developers are aware of this behavior.
