12 months ago I'm not sure what your question is. What is wrong that needs to be fixed? The splash is there to show something while the app loads, it's meant to be there without the possibility to move.
A similar splash shows up when you start any large desktop application - try Adobe Photoshop (6 seconds of splash on my machine) or Corel Draw (10 seconds on my machine). During that time you can do nothing with that app and for a reason.
On my 10 year old machine it takes only 4 seconds for DIYLC to start - how long do you wait?

whenever you start up DIYLC, and the splashcreen/titlescreen appears (the little animated screen with the pictures of the components) on your screen, its like right in the center of the screen. there's really no way to move it out of your way while its starting up. even moving to a different app or trying to click anywhere else or minimize the title screen, nothing budges it. i was actually wondering if that was something that can be fixed on my end somehow or what?
this isnt quite the issue as it was before with how much faster it fully starts up, either due to the recent updates or my new laptop, or both, but again its so much faster now to start up fully its nothing like it used to be where i could interact with everything else while it was loading but i couldn't see any of it almost.
So if this is just how it is, thats all im wondering. not an issue necessarily any longer but if i needed to change something on my end somewhere i was unaware of, then maybe, i wondered, theres more than even THAT i was unaware of.
