Why digit 8 in this image is recognized as 3? #1401

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.tesseract img.png out -psm 8 digits
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The expected output is 8, but instead 3 is out.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
v3.02.02, Mac OS X

How to correctly recognize the image I provided? Thanks!
