4 years ago Watcher3 is far from the only auto-downloader tool with this issue - Sick, CP, arr, and Mylar all solve the problem through imports. While not convenient, would it cover the need here?
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I have a number of items from a badly structured/formatted library and would like to bulk fix them up so they neater and conform to the same standard newly processed items will.
Describe the solution you'd like Under manage library add an option to "Move & Rename" that takes the existing post processing parameters and applies them to the selected items.
Describe alternatives you've considered I have thought of wiping the library and instead making them all run through post processing, this appears to require you to manually add all items before doing this so they get picket up (long painful process). I have also thought of looking for a external application to apply the standards with and then either updating the metadata or re importing them all after cleanup.
Additional context Although some of the above alternatives should work it would be nice to have this ability via Watcher3. As I am sure there are times when it would be helpful and other people like me that badly managed their library before and decided to move to an automatically managed solution like Watcher3. This would also allow you to change your mind on the layout and fix up all existing items because people do change their minds occasionally.
