How do you define "critical path for this task"? By definition, critical path includes all tasks with zero float
We can talk about critical path for some particular task if there are many independent paths in the project, and we want to show only those which include this task. Is this what you meant?
Yes, I meant just this.
When project is long, it would be easier to follow e.g. milestones and steps to reach them if you could just select any task and see critical path for that.

When project is long and there are many tasks, for whole project there is just one critical path, but for single task the critical path is many times different.
It would be really great feature if you could right click any task in the gant chart and have option: "Show critical path for this task". After selection, the gant chart would show critical path for that particular task.
