milestones should take up 0 time (no time) #208

What is the expected output?
milestones should take up 0 (no) time.
extra info: think about the concept of a milestone. a milestone is supposed to
be a mile marker on the road,
taking up infinitesimal mileage (a point in space) that shows what the mile
number (a position or length) is from a given point.
you can't do this with signs, since they take up finite space. the concept is
the same as with tic marks on rulers - exact same idea.
just as on computers and rulers, you want it to be as exact as possible with
computers, so therefore you use an infinitesimal point rather than a span of
time, such as a day, which is what is currently used.

What do you see instead?
milestones take up time and have start and end date.

What version of the product are you using? 2.0.10

On what operating system? XP Pro sp3 32-bit, 3GB ram, pentium 4 HT (1 core 2
threads)

Please provide any additional information below.

oops... the bug reports are backward-sorted (oldest first).
so I seem to have duplicated Bug 196. 196 has already been accepted.
