i posted this as a bug. maybe it's an issue (just started using gp today).
i'm using praha on win7.

when i go to export a pdf or image of a gantt chart, a section of the data
table is blacked out. image attached.

thanks in advance.

Sorry, what's the purpose of filing two similar issues? If you just wish to
discuss, I recommend using our forum: http://forum.ganttproject.biz

And just in case: Praha is quite new and unstable beta (thanks for testing
it!). Stable version is GP 2.0.10.

the purpose is that, as stated, i wasn't sure where it belonged, and i wanted
to resolve the issue.

i tried gp 2.0.10 first and found it so unstable that it wouldn't even restart
after shutdown. reinstalled 3 times, same issue. so i tried the beta. much
more stable.

This is a know issue, basically it is a hack by me to get better exporting
capabilities (the black part is the GanttTree outside the actual window...)

To fix it, we need to find out how to repaint a Component that is (partly)
hidden.

Is it true that it happens only if the project tree doesn't fit into the window?

Let me close the duplicate then.

howdy y'all, i'm not from 'round here! i didn't realize an issue was a bug was
an issue... they all wind up in the same place. good on deleting/merging.

i have 20+ yrs exp. in large scale construction. critical path was among my
chief concerns. i also wrote an application for constr. documentation that you
might find interesting.

if you'd like my input i'd be happy to provide insight into what i've learned
and compiled along the way. if not, that's okay too. i won't waste your time
or mine.

i like what you've done so far. now that oracle has bought and crushed
primavera, there is much need for both simple and complex programming tools
that are either affordable or open source... i've searched extensively in vain.

carpe diem.

Yes: try to resize the window (height) and export again

I think this was fixed during my refactorings of tree table code.

It is still not fixed completely
The lines which after the project are still black, see attachment (when making
the window height small(er))

Although, one might argue that that line (whatever I try, it is only one line)
should be removed?

Note: I only checked PNG export, I do not know about printing, or PDF, etc,
exports
