Hi,

I will appriciate if you would add Israel holiday calendar.
I know a lot of Israelies that use this application and will be glad for that.

In the meanwhile - is there any way importing holidays from outlook for example
into ganttproject ?

Thanks a lot, Ido

You can create your own public calendar: open a .calendar file (which is XML)
from plugins/net.sourceforge.ganttproject/data/resources/calendar/ directory in
your GP installation (e.g. i18n_us.calendar) in any text editor and replace
<date> tags with ones defining Israel holidays. The format is pretty obvious.
<date> with empty "year" attribute defines a recurring holiday.

If you create a holiday calendar for Israel, we'll be glad to add it to the
next GanttProject release

Hi GanttProject team. This is an awesome program. Probably one of the best
desktop based open source software for project managers. Would greatly
appreciate if configuring holidays in the calendar would be simpler. I am a
Project Manager for advertising with zero knowledge on troubleshooting on stuff
like solutions stated above. Otherwise, this is already a great program which
can only get better with improvements such as this request. Also, it would also
be awesome if exporting to xls will be enabled. Thank you!

Configuring holidays in a single project IS simple: there is "edit public
holidays" item in the chart context menu.

I guess this discussion is not related to Israel calendar, so let's continue it
somewhere else (e.g. on the forum) to avoid spamming people.
