Mac OS X hide shortcut (CMD + h) does not hide the application #963

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Have application in focus on the Gannt or Resources tab
2. Use keyboard shortcut CMD + h

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expected : the application hides itself as per Mac OS X defaults
Observed behaviour : the application hides itself, then reappears (not in focus
- ie. behind the webbrowser that gained focus with the hide action) with the
"new resource" dialog opened on top of the Gannt or Resources tab.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

I second this. The problem is that the CMD+H shortcut is assigned to both "GanttProject -> Hide GanttProject" and Resources -> New Resource (this shortcut is not shown in the app's main menu but only when right-clicking the Resources area in the Resources chart tab). Another non-conflicting shortcut for "New resource" should be used, maybe CMD+R?
