Apologies for the late reply.
This has been an issue since I started using Debian for the server instead of Ubuntu. Debian seems to not automatically refresh the DHCP-address when it times out. This causes the server to loose internet-connection although it it still running and working just fine on my local network.
This means I have to do it manually every time, hence the disappearance on the public server list. The server is now available again for now.
I will try to find a solution for this annoyance this weekend. Will post back.
I have implemented a workaround that refreshes the network connection every 12 hours. This is also the DHCP lease time, so this will most likely fix the issue. I will give it a couple of days of testing before I close this one.
Been getting timeouts lately every 30 seconds or so. Can't even get on the server to even check my mail. Any idea what's causing this issue?
Strange. I tried connecting to the server outside my network and stayed signed in for two hours straight. Perhaps try and reinstall MT?
Hello Bark, does your server still running? The server isn't appearing on the server list on the Minetest menu.
The server isn't appearing on the server list on the Minetest menu. Searched through that list 5 times and couldn't find it.
Any idea why this issue has occurred?
