New Post Button #3

As a User on http://support.ribbot.com/ I want to see New Post on the left hand side So that I still retain the forum feel of starting a new thread

Look at other forums and everybody has New Post on the top left hand corner, with Search on right. You want to encourage people to Start new threads first, not search.

Also, change the words New Post to New Thread or New Topic.

Here's an example of a Forum with New Topic on the left and search on the right http://postgresql.1045698.n5.nabble.com/

I can see why New Topic and New Post shouldn't be on the left hand side. Then people will create a Post first before searching for an existing Post.

Yep that is true...btw if you really wanted to you might be able to customize this with CSS in a custom theme. But yes, probably uncommon.
