I'll second that. There are several ELM327s with WiFi interfaces, which are just as ubiquitous as bluetooth. I'm not sure why an interface over bluetooth would operate much differently and over WiFi.

Are you sure it's not working already? I think if the wifi adapter can make a serial port, that the program can connect to it. Did you check?
