3DO menu issues - quit icon #117

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
I have been testing the 3DO menus and found some issues, all grouped in this
issue ticket.

1) The flickering for the icon selection is both annoying and useless.
Since there is only one possible icon at a time displayed, there is no point in
it. If we keep it however, it should be gentle to the eye: right now it's
stroboscopic.

2) The GAMES icon is low res

3) The SAVE icon is low res and too big for the UI, it steps outside the UI on
the right side (see capture)

Done. Since the original game blinked that fast with the 3DO menus, I don't
consider that a bug. Something Jaakko may want to change later.

Still an issue with the QUIT button in the 3D0 icon version, see capture.
Reopening for Damon.

There is no issue. Won't fix.

Sorry but there IS an issue.
It may not be clear on capture but the drawing is too big for the flashy
selection blink and it looks botched because of that.

No, I realize that. Don't care. I did that on purpose. Won't fix.
