Black screen, music and then MSVCR100.dll crash on alpha 1

when i extract the folder and start the exe, all i get is a black window 
screen...

my spec is win7 64bit, cpu e8500, gpu ati 6870...

are there any files besides zip folder that i need?

i allready tried all the batch files...

my native monitor resolution is 1920x1200...

after black screen i hear some music, and then after i press enter it crashes 
with folowing error:

i see that its comon MSVCR100.dll error..i have all the libraries instaled, net 
frameworks, visual basics and such...any suggestions?

Sorry, this seems like all-windows problem. I have no idea about how to fix 
those.

MSVCR100.dll refers to the Visual C++ distributable.
So, first step is to try to re-install the redistributable package.

Also, some other people have received that error due to an old video card 
driver. 

According to the internet, other possibilities even include viruses, corrupt 
registries. So a lot of possible problems. If the two options don't work. Email 
me: dczanik (at) gmail (dot) com

There should be a wiki document on this, and also on how to unzip a file. 
(youtube has great 'how to' videos on it)

i dl the game from the link you provided and everything works now....

so i guess there is something wrong with the zip on sourceforge's site, or i 
had some internet problems when i dl it, you check that out for future...
