naming save games: preserving previous name

A small enhancement request: it would be useful to preserve the old savename 
when saving over a previous save slot.

i.e., when you have previously named your savegame, and you click on it to save 
again, it would offer you the previous name by default so if you just click 
enter, you save it with the same name.
If you hit backspace, it would then erase all the previous name and let you add 
a new name.

That would be convenient. The erase-all-on-backspace will take more work than 
retaining the old name though, because of the way the text feeding is 
programmed.
