Version 3: Gravitational Slingshot in Normal Space - Enhancement #262

Which resolution are you using? (important!)

Does this bug appear at other resolutions?
All resolutions

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Fly past a planet or moon

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
You would expect the ship's course to be subtly (for moons) and heavily (for
planets) modified, gravity having an effect on the ship's course. Instead the
ship ignores gravity effects and keeps going in a straight line regardless.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
v.0.7.0 + HD Mod BETA - XUbuntu 13.04

Please provide any additional information below.
I know this bug also exists in the original unmodified UQM game, and as such
will probably be ignored, but I think it would make the game more realistic.
Unless you are going to say that ships (including the Precursor vessel) can
somehow ignore the effects of gravity in normal space. I can understand in
hyperspace and otherspace that such effects would be rightly ignored, but in a
solar system, they should not be ignored.

This is a fun little idea, but would not provide much improved gameplay. It's
pretty hard to hit those planets with a 2 thruster beginning-of-the-game-ship
as it is!
In case we get an eager programmer candidate on board, he or she might wanna
practise on this :)
