Won't run after install #287

Which resolution are you using? (important!)
1280x960
Does this bug appear at other resolutions?
1280x960 and 640x480 and lowest
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Install game and play
2.exit game and attempt to play again get black screen with small area where 
pointer is visible
3.right click on icon and open in compatibility mode to see error

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
to run more than once

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.7.0 beta 1 on win 7

Please provide any additional information below.
error can only see error by opening in compatibility modeotherwise you see 
black screen with small black are in center where pointer is visible

deleted cfg files reinstalled changed joystick 1 all other settings at default 
1280x960 again won't boot 
it seems to boot fine directly off the instal but not off the desktop icon
tried the exe in the program files same problem

Had similar response.  First run after install = Great!  Subsequent run = Black 
screen and "Program fails to respond" message.  Only difference between myself 
and previous reporter of problem is less game titles and I'm running it on a 
Windows 8.1, 64 bit system.

Go to  program files Ur Quan folder look for uqmdebug.exe double click to start.
I've been using this to continue playing the game , it runs a dos box debug 
then starts the game no lag problems so far.
