This looks brilliant! When will Classy Gmaps fully operate as an official map and not a prototype?

I guess when somebody 'finishes' it :)

Its just a hobby site project. When I started it was so had somewhere to view split screen streetview and display KML files. To become a fully fledged 'mapping site' will take a lot of work (esp if it really does try to replicate the original Google Maps - which took a whole team of engineers at google many years to build)

@specman Ditto! ClassyGMaps is saving my sanity. Barry, there isn't a medal shiny enough to recognize your work properly!

OMG you have no idea how much of my sanity has been restored here too. Just seeing the old Google map style without his ugly 5 millimeter, opaque, bubble line over the street I'm trying to look at is a blessing.
