I have the exact same issue. It happens with 11.1. It happens on all of my models: MBP Mid 2012, MBP Early 2011, MBP Mid 2009, MBP Early 2008, MB 2010, MB Early 2009, MM Late 2012.
Do you know to to fix it?
No. Sorry.
But thanks then i am going to install Catalina again and choose a Different version
I tried it again with the older and the issue still persists so what am i going to do? I really need Big Sur
If you guys really need Big Sur I would first re read the section about missing graphics acceleration.
Can you please send my the output of sysctl -n hw.model
- I can change the patching for your models and try to solve this linking issue. I will send back a modified patch-kext.sh. No promises of course..
You can also run the patch-kext.sh from the terminal app booted into Big Sur. This way you can capture the terminal output into a text file and send this here instead to posting "sharp" photos.
Sorry that i did not say that i tried it one LAST time and for some reason that worked and now i am running big sur just fine!
I have a 2010 White MacBook and if i do the patch-kexts.sh it fails. See the photo's
And i cant boot my Macbook because it will crash, get a kernel panic and reboots, and that just goes on till i turn off the MacBook.
