Macbook Pro Mid-2012 macOS Monterey installation failed #240

So, I tried to install Monterey on my MacBook Pro 2012, but it failed on first boot: "Failed to install needed firmware update" or something(it was in Russian, I translated it) How can I fix that?

are you updating for what version? you can't upload from , in example, lion to big sur, need intermediate versions for apply some firmware updates, like APFS support.

From Catalina, latest supported for this mac

maybe you need to use the patch and upgrade to big sur before monterey

No, I started with Catalina Anyways, I am unable to test furthermore, I already installed the system using oclp
