I've finally taken the original ElFinder package, that comes with php support and transformed my controllers.

if you know approximately when the adaptation for version 9 will be ready.

This will probably need a lot of work on another dependency of this package, elfinder-flysystem-driver. Since this package is not compatible with the new Flysystem version, it will need a large code overhaul. See https://github.com/barryvdh/elfinder-flysystem-driver/pull/82#issuecomment-1050030697.
